Morganite Necklace

Morganite is a beryllium aluminium silicate, a rare pale pink variety of beryl, a mineral that includes emerald and aquamarine.

This gem was first discovered in Madagascar in 1910, and named in honour of J.P. Morgan, the American banker and philanthropist, for his gift of several major gem collections to museums, including the American Museum of Natural History.

It is believed that morganite gently cleanses the body of stress and anxiety, old wounds and hidden traumas, and brings freedom within the spirit, as if a shadow has been lifted.

This beautiful natural very pale pink coloured Morganite has been set in a 9ct gold claw setting and suspended on a super fine curb chain.
