Lily of the Valley Ring

from £175.00

Greek god of the sun Apollo is believed to have sprinkled Lily of the Valley on the forest bed at Mount Parnassus so his muses wouldn’t injure their feet as they walked through the forest.

The Lily of the Valley represents a return of happiness and joy. It is also symbolic of motherhood and is historically associated with May Day when it is given as a symbol of good luck and prosperity.

In Germanic mythology, Lily of the Valley is associated with the purity and humility of the Norse goddess of spring and dawn, Ostara (where we get the word Easter).

This band has been carved with Lily of the Valley flowers and has a rustic tactile feel.

It is slightly wider at the front and narrower at the back.
