New Unisex SEAWEED Rings
Not that I normally assign gender to any of my jewellery, as jewellery is for all! however, I have been requested by a few customers over the years that they would love to be able to buy items for the men in their lives and a lot of my jewellery is quite delicate.
I have just designed a new super chunky ring called ‘Altum Mare’ (meaning The Deep Sea). It has a little anchor and seaweed sweeping up the sides. It is indestructible (as much as a ring can be that is) and is available in silver, or solid gold (however this is a weighty piece!…the price will reflect the current gold value). I am contemplating gold plating in 18ct, also known as vermeil or silver gilt. I will update the website as soon as I know if this is doable. I will also seek out a potential man’s hand to model them on, as my munchkin mitts are just not doing this ring justice!…
I love this rings it’s so smooth and tactile! The sample in this photo is way too big for me (like all my sample rings!) so it should fit a little more snug.
It would be a a lovely wedding ring or promise ring for men I think! It is available in shiny or satin finish (as pictured here).
Also to go with the Altum Mare ring, a chunky signet ring called ‘Maris’ (Of the sea) featuring a little scallop shell amongst the seaweed. Again, this
I designed it to be pretty much universal/unisex like signet rings are traditionally. I like the way the seaweed comes up the sides of the ring, sort of growing over the traditional signet ring concept, maybe it was lost in the sea too long and the seaweed took it over!
I also added a tiny little scallop shell pendant to go with the Maris signe ring. It’s available in silver or 9ct gold and white gold. It has a large jumpring so it can be put on most chains or leather or anything!
Lastly, a new chain is available to buy, on its own, or together with any of our pendants. Many length options too!
I almost forgot! I have also added some new wedding bands (or stacking ring, normal ring) which have a raw faceted finish. A lovely texture which reflects the light perfectly. Great also for men’s wedding band ideas. In silver or solid gold.
